More cabinet designs than any other site |

Welcome to the Entertainment section of Red Rocket Retro. You’ll find nothing to buy here, just cool videos, images and audio. Oh, and links to arcade related sites….
We’ll start with cr*pMAME. The image on the right is what this website is all about. An entire site dedicated to home-built MAME cabinets that don’t quite hit the mark. Click here to visit the website, but be warned: the site contains bad language.

We loved this clip of some chap called Ben and his Casio. He plays the Bubble Bobble theme. The reminiscence of this classic game should be enough to start you loading it up on any machine, but, admittedly, we were more impressed with the concentration on his face and wondered; is that a lampshade on his settee? |

Here is a site that we absolutely love; 3D Arcade. After downloading the software you are able to design you’re very own three-dimensional arcade. Perseverance is the name of the game as it all gets a bit technical almost as soon as you start. So why not do what we do and just visit the site here and go to the ‘models’ section and click on ‘3D preview’ (under each cabinets name) and as long as you have Adobe Shockwave installed, you can spin the cabinets up, down, left and right and zoom in and out (using the mouse and arrow keys) to your hearts content. |

It’s playtime now in the Entertainment lounge. Our friends at Neave have provided this awesome version of the original PacMan game. Enjoy… |

…From the cutesy, cutesy PacMan to the mighty Mortal Kombat. This video shows every fatality move from the series. Although these are only pixelated images, you have been warned that they can be pretty gruesome. |

This is where we call on you… If you know of any brilliant videos, audio, pictures or websites that we can show on our Entertainments page, please let us know.
Thanks in advance,
The Red Rocket Retro team. |
